The local technical teams interact daily with customers at all stages of the chicken production process. This experience, as well as commercial flock data, provides the basis for all of our recommendations. We are committed to keeping our customers up-to-date with new developments and management advice to allow them to optimize the health, welfare and performance of their Aviagen stock.

One of the most long-running and successful examples of Aviagen’s commitment to education is the annual Aviagen Production Management Course held in the United States. This four-week workshop brings participants from around the world together to learn the latest information in all areas of poultry science and its practical application to managing successful breeder and broiler operations. In the past 50 years, the Aviagen Course has graduated more than 1,500 men and women who have gone on to responsible positions within the industry.

Aviagen also has successfully established a dedicated Production School for customers in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. The School features three separate one-week modules that focus on key areas within the broiler value chain: hatchery management and incubation, broiler management, and breeder management. In addition, Aviagen has also established an annual Production School in China that has been well attended and appreciated by customers.

Smaller, regionally based seminars and workshops take place throughout the year in our efforts to continually bring the latest information to our customers. Aviagen is proud of the numerous poultry professionals and specialists that we employ and who regularly speak at these events. We also work closely with outside industry professionals and consultants to provide the most beneficial learning experience for all of the attendees.
