The Aviagen Production Management Course emphasizes many important aspects of poultry science and their practical application to managing successful breeder and broiler operations. Enrollment is limited and all applicants must be Aviagen customers nominated by an Aviagen Sales or Technical Representative. This series of modules is aimed at Aviagen customers’ technical and production managers and also will benefit commercial managers who are new to the industry and need a more thorough understanding of the industry’s key biological and economic drivers. The School will detail how best practices can optimize bird welfare, biological and economic performance in the context of the industry value chain.

The course will provide a good level of knowledge in the various related disciplines to enable the technical or production manager to recognize areas of opportunity and to hold a meaningful dialogue with his specialist colleagues in support of the business objectives. Data collection, analysis and interpretation will focus on problem solving and more importantly, problem prevention, as a central part of the production manager’s key responsibilities.
 
Tutors are selected from within Aviagen as well as recognized industry specialists.
 
The first module will be held in August in Edinburgh and covers broiler breeder management with the other modules held over the following six months in locations around Europe.

Формат этой школы имеет в своей основе модульный принцип, при котором проводятся недельные курсы, специфически составленные для обучения в области производства бройлерного, родительского поголовья, а также инкубационной технологии.

Первый модульный курс будет организован в Эдинбурге с 25 августа до 1 сентября 2012 года. Этот модуль будет посвящен технологии производства РОДИТЕЛЬСКОГО поголовья и будет проводиться в форме курса лекций, практических занятий и презентаций. Обучение будет вестись на английском языке.
