Customers benefit from important flock information presented in their local languages

CAMPINAS, Brazil – In an effort to strengthen its local touch, Aviagen^® Latin America will now make available the Ross^® Parent Stock (PS) Performance Objectives and PS Nutrition Specifications, along with the Broiler Performance Objectives, in the Portuguese and Spanish languages.

Updated regularly, the PS and Broiler Performance Objectives reflect the latest genetic improvement in areas such as Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), weight gain and meat yield. They are based on performance recorded in the field and data collected from field trials. On the other hand, the PS Nutrition Specifications list the amounts of each nutrient (including amino acids, energy, vitamins and minerals) needed at each stage to produce healthy, robust Ross birds.

The Nutrition Specifications and Performance Objective documents complement one another and are intended to be used together. Diligently following the Ross nutritional strategy helps birds achieve the Performance Objectives in a balanced way, together advancing biological performance, optimal development, livability and other indicators of bird health and well-being.
